The Department of Information Resources (DIR) has designated New Horizons Computer Learning Center as an Information and Communications Technology ("ICT") vendor for training. This program (formerly known as Go DIRect) is a streamlined cooperative purchasing program for state and local government, public education and other public entities in Texas, as well as public entities outside the state.
Any Texas state, county or local government office and public education entity – no matter how small – can participate in the ICT Co-op Contracts program. State Statute TEX.GOVT CODE 2054.0565 states that the ICT Co-op Contracts program meet the competitive requirements for all governmental entities.
By choosing New Horizons for training, Texas governmental agencies can forgo the competitive bid process, saving time and resources while remaining cost-effective.
